Utah Part 2.

The main reason we ventured out to Utah was to attend Jared and Shenna's wedding. It was so great to be with everyone! It was nice to finally meet and welcome Shenna into the family. And the best part is, we get to go back in September for Dallin and Alli's wedding!! Here is a major picture overload from the festivities at the wedding!
Me, Alli, and Sarah just before the ceremony.
The new family! Jared, Shenna, Sawyer, and Harrison
Tanner and Caroline,  Caroline has always had a special love for this sweet cousin of hers.
Gunner, Grandpa, Emily, Alli, Abbie, Dallin, Brett, me and Colt.
Me and my (not so much anymore) baby boy, he was extremely clingy during the wedding, too many new people....this mama did not mind one bit.

Utah Part 1

We started our trip off by spending a few days with our Utah Larsen family. It was so much fun to catch up and see cousins that we don't get to very often.
Along our drive we passed Mater and Lightning McQueen. Of course we had to stop for some pictures!

We were able to make a visit to see Grandma and Grandpa Ehlert.
 Cousins!!
 These boys loved playing together.
 The babies, Torin and Colt.

Gunner Man

Our Gunner man gave us quite a scare a few months ago. One afternoon he got a fever and then started breathing funny. I decided to take him to the doctor just to be sure he was okay. Thankfully, I did. He seemed to get worse as soon as I took him in. They gave him a breathing treatment and tried giving him some medicine for his fever but he couldn't keep it down. They were concerned because he was dehydrated, but unable to keep anything down, and because his oxygen level was so low. After a few attempts at getting him breathing better and there being no progress, the doctor decided it would be best for him to stay over night in the hospital. They would be able to give him an IV and get fluids to him that way and be able to give him breathing treatments throughout the night. So, off we went. At the hospital, after running multiple tests, they diagnosed Gunner with pneumonia. Thankfully, it was a Friday, so Brett was able to be with our other kids and I could spend the night in the hospital with my Gunner man. And, thankfully he improved and we only had to spend one night in the hospital.
Getting his breathing treatment.
Trying to give me a smile.
He was good when they put his IV in so he got to eat a Popsicle.

Home Away From Home

While we were visiting Dallas, we decided to head to our favorite place for a few days. The Cabin. Emily's Family and a few Foote's joined us. One afternoon we spent playing in the river.
Caroline and Bekah.
 The water was freezing.

 Soaked!
I hope these two are always good friends.

Sunnyvale

The first week of June we went to Dallas for a visit. We went for two main reasons, first was to go to Maddie's high school graduation, and the second was to be around to help out with the Foote kids while Jenn was at girls camp. It ended up being quite the busy week with alot of driving around and alot of fun!!
Me and the graduate. Proud Aunt moment.
Caroline and Bekah playing at the pool.
Gunner is always a little hesitant when it comes to the water, so when he went on his back saying, "watch me float mom", it was a big deal.
And of course we had plenty of time to have fun with the new baby chickens!!
A little swingin'.
My kids love being outside!! All the fun and freedom to run and play was heaven for them!
One of my favorite things from the whole week was picking fresh blackberries from Grandpa's garden!! Oh how I miss living close and getting bowl fulls to take home!!

A little old fashioned sprinkler fun!!

Summer Summer

We started our summer off right with a swim at the pool. It has actually been quite a mild summer so far for Texas. We are still going to the park in the mornings and playing in the yard some days, but for those triple digit days we are grateful our apartment has a pool to swim in!!
We discovered Colt is quite the water baby. He has no fear and loves it!!

This Week

We've been unsuccessfully potty training this week, its been all around long, so I wanted to post these happy pictures to remind me of how blessed I am. And that bad days are just a part of life. That for every bad day there are a whole lot of good days mixed in there too.

Colt was teething one day and not content unless I held him, standing up.... so I put him in my wrap and carried him around. Win, win!! Times like this are rare, he is usually pretty on the go, so I loved it!!
We went ice skating a while back and Gunner was thrilled.
Sweet Caroline.
Caroline got some new sunglasses for Easter and loves to wear them!!
Aunt LeeAnn sent this jersey for Gunner and he wants to wear it everyday.
My sweet baby Colt.
