Two Already?

Yesterday was Caroline's second birthday!! I cannot believe how fast time flies!! My little girl isn't a baby anymore. We had such a fun day with our little family spending time together and enjoying our sweet two year old girl. We love you so much Caroline and can't imagine our family without you!! You are our special girl, always having so much energy and curiosity you keep mom and dad on their toes, you still love elmo, animals, cars and trucks, and you would be outside everyday if the weather was good. You love your little brother so much it makes my heart melt. You are a wonderful big sister and daughter, we thank our Heavenly Father every day for bringing you to us and look forward to all the birthdays to come, thank you for being our special and sweet Caroline, love mom, dad, Gunner and Elliot.

So excited for her new doll (side note), this is Caroline's first actual doll, I know what you are thinking, you have a 2 year old daughter and have never gotten her a doll?? She has stuffed animals, but she has never shown interest until her little brother was born. She has been perfectly content with her other toys, but I can tell it was about time because she hasn't stopped pushing it around in the stroller all day long!

We went to see the crocs and fish for Carolines birthday and they had this guy out front, I couldn't resist getting a picture

Gunner's Blessing

Gunner was blessed on Sunday January 16th. I am so grateful to have a worthy and willing husband who was able to give Gunner such a sweet blessing. We were lucky enough to have both sets of grandparents here to share this special day with us.

Thankful

Just because today I am especially thankful I have this beautiful smile to wake me up in the mornings, to laugh and play with all day long.

And for the two most handsome guys around.
Just because I am so thankful these three are my family forever.

6 Weeks

Gunner is 6 weeks! I can hardly believe it goes by so quickly! I have been so bad at updating anything on him, I feel as though we have been nonstop since the day he was born, with the holidays and adjusting to life with two kids. Whoever thought life with one kid was hard- have a second :-) We have loved every minute of this little guy, he is growing soo big soo fast!! I want him to stop, seriously.

Just a few thoughts so I can remember-When Gunner was about a week old he became really congested and never could quite get past it, so after a few doctor appointments and trying a few different meds and finally going to an ENT specialist, much to my dismay we were pretty disappointed to find out that our poor little Gunner just has an allergy that he will supposedly, eventually grow out of. He is doing much better these days, only struggles sometimes at night. He is growing like a weed, at the doctors last week he was already at a whopping 10 and a half pounds, so he is not struggling in the eating department. He still gets plenty of love and kisses from his big sister who can never get enough of him. He is very alert and aware when he is awake and is just barely starting to show us a few smiles. We sure love you Gunner!
