Happy Birthday Brett

Happy birthday to our favorite dad and wonderful husband!! Here are 27 reasons on your 27th birthday why we, Caroline, Linnae and Elliot love you!! 1-you are such a good dad. 2-you always know how to make me smile. 3-I love how you make Caroline laugh. 4-you always put us first. 5-you work hard at all you do. 6-you clean out the litter box. 7-you let me sleep in even when it is totally my turn to wake up with the baby. 8-you get up and go to work everyday. 9-your a worthy priesthood holder. 10-you have a good heart. 11- your always thinking of others. 12- you always give us a kiss when you come home from work. 13- you take out the trash. 14-you love your truck. 15-you can fix almost anything. 16-you love your family. 17-you love to play as hard as you love to work. 18-you love dr. pepper too. 19-you give Elliot attention when he needs it. 20-you give Caroline the best horsey rides. 21-you take care of us when we are sick. 22-I love how all the grand kids love uncle B. 23-you eat what I cook. 24-your handsome. 25-you change your share of dirty diapers. 26-your our best friend. 27-you love your girls even more than you love your nascar.

Are we back in Wyoming??

No we are not, but it sure looks like it!! Texas had a record breaking snow storm of almost 9 inches!! The snow started at about 3 am Thursday morning and literally did not stop until 11 that night, and we took full advantage of it. It was awesome, Brett's work closed early and we all headed over to Emily's house to go sledding down the "hills" and build snowmen. There may have also been some fun with the four wheelers. These pictures really don't even do justice, you should check out my brother Gord's blog to see how much snow we really got here.

Birthday Party Palooza

We had such a fun time celebrating Caroline's first birthday!! Here are a few of her one year old milestones...she has four teeth, 3 on bottom and one on top. She is walking all over the place now, she started taking steps around Christmas and has just this past week or two really made the transition from crawling to walking and taken off. She loves Elliot and dogs, we are most recently working on animals and their sounds. She waves hello and goodbye at everyone and blows kisses, but only when she feels like it. She loves oatmeal, blueberries and pancakes. We love you sweet girl.

Happy Birthday Caroline

This post is dedicated to our sweet baby girl Caroline who has blessed our lives for a whole year now!! It really does go by to fast!! Her actual birthday was on Friday January 29th, which we celebrated with lots of fun and family, (pictures later). Caroline, you have been nothing but a joy to have with us. We can't imagine life without you and are so grateful for the happiness you have brought to us, we look forward to the years and memories to come. Thank you for being such a sweet addition and wonderful part of our family!! We love you, mom, dad and Elliot.
