Last week Brett was in Kilgore for training, so instead of being alone we headed off for a quick trip to Dallas.
We started off our week with a bang by hanging out with the Foote's in their back yard! This is Gunner's first time in the swing and he loved it!
We took advantage of the warm and beautiful weather and headed to the zoo with grandpa and grandma, Emily,and Bekah. Caroline's favorite thing was feeding the giraffes, she was not afraid at all.

Watching the kids feed the birds was my favorite part of the zoo.
Even I took a turn feeding.
The kids also really enjoyed the petting zoo.
Caroline wanted to stay.
We also celebrated Caroline's birthday while we were with everyone. It was too short of a visit with lots of fun packed in. I always enjoy a good visit with family.

The Dallas zoo and birthday cake with the whole family are two of my faovrite memories of when we used to live in Texas with everyone. Love that you live so close and take advantage of Bretts trips! xoxo
