West Texas Abode...

This post is for my brother Gord. We've been living here since the end of January, and finally have pictures on the walls and are feeling like our apartment is now our home.

Things are actually a little different now because we inherited some new couches and some bunk beds for the kids rooms, but this is what things look like for the most part.

My Girl.

This sweet, sassy, filled with energy ALL. DAY. LONG. girl turned five last month. She is my little ball of fire. She loves to sing (Frozen songs), have dance parties and wrestling with her dad and brothers. She is always thinking and asking questions, wanting to learn everything she can. She is a great big sister, watching out for, taking care of and sometimes teasing her brothers. She loves to play and has a big imagination. She is my little side kick and I love my girl to pieces!!

Getting a little messy.
She talked all day long about wanting to get dad's face in her cake. He made her day.She was so happy.

In a nut shell...

These pictures are all random ones from over the last six months or so-
Caroline and Gunner playing on the tire swing at Gordy and Jenn's.

Caroline got really sick this winter and her asthma was kicked into high gear, so the doctor sent us home with a breathing machine. Modern.Miracle.
Love my sleepy baby Colt.
Gunner man, nuff' said.
Colt's hair grew in.
Does it get any sweeter? Wish I could bottle this up!

One last get together.

This is a little late since Grammy and Grandpa Larsen have been out on their mission for about two months now- but we were able to get together with them for one last visit before they left to serve in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We met up with Brett's sister Chrystie and her family in Oklahoma at my parents cabin which was so fun! It was really cold, but it was beautiful.

We went exploring and found a great place to hike by the river.
The kids enjoyed looking for big rocks and leaves to throw in the river.
Everyone together.
One last picture with Elder and Sister Larsen.

Colt's 1st Birthday

Our little bundle of joy baby Colt turned one on January 8th. It was a small and sweet celebration with just the family and it was perfect. I made him a fish cake and I love how it turned out. He of course didn't care what it looked like, he just enjoyed eating it. Colt is loved by everyone, he has a contagious smile and a big belly roll of a laugh. He has two of the cutest dimples ever and is getting way too big way too fast. He has been chasing after and trying to keep up with his brother and sister for as long as I can remember. He thinks he is a big boy these days, he and mom are on different pages about that one. I don't want my baby growing up so quickly. Happy Birthday little man. Please stay my baby.

Gunner Turns 3.

Our sweet, silly, happy Gunner man turned 3. And we celebrated in style with a Mickey Mouse theme. It was really fun to have him so excited about his birthday this year. He loved helping make his cake, mostly eating the batter actually. And I have to give props to Brett. While frosting , I got frustrated and he actually ended taking over and frosting almost the whole cake. Who knew he had such a hidden talent, it turned out great! Gunner is my cuddler. He is always willing to give extra hugs and kisses and loves everyone. He is still very much into Lightning McQueen and Toy Story. If I can't find him, I just follow the vroom, vroom noises where he's gone to play with his cars. He is an amazing second child and fits into our family perfectly. He will sit and play polly's when Caroline asks and he will love on Colt and make sure he has toys or snacks and is taken care of too. We sure love having him around.

The finished product. And one excited boy.
I made some Mickey Mouse cookies too.
Blowing out the candles.
Getting right into it.
And loving it.
