Summer kickoff.

We started our summer off by heading to Colorado for some time with the Larsen side of the family. We had a family reunion celebrating Grandpa and Grammy Larsen coming home from their mission to Puerto Rico. We were only able to make the tale end of  it because of Brett's work schedule but it was so much fun and so worth it to see and surprise everyone. We hadn't told anyone we were coming because we thought we were going to miss the whole thing. And, no one knew we were 6 months pregnant with Larsen #4.

Gunner passed out on the drive up.
These two boys sure love their Grandpa Larsen!

After the reunion we went to Denver and spent some time with Brett's brother Bryn and family at their home. We forgot to pack Gunner's swim suit, so he borrowed his cousin Miles' swim team trunks.
Sprinkler fun!
This is one of my favorites of Colt holding tight to Dad while running through the water.

Random.

I sure love these kids of mine. They are wild and crazy and have loads of energy. Most days are busy and full of meltdowns, skinned knees that need kisses, games of imagination and hopefully memories in the making. I am usually ready to go to sleep even before my head hits the pillow, but my love for them is unconditional and I am so thankful they are mine.
Colt has the best bedhead!!
Gunner being Santa with the bubbles.
We love our Darla truck.
Forts, popcorn and a movie. Best day ever.
We went to the hardware store and there was a Lightning McQueen car sitting in the parking lot. The kids were over joyed.
The Abilene Zoo.
Miss Caroline as her usual silly self.

And we're done....

And just like that kindergarten is over! At times it went by fast and some days it went by slow, but in the end we were ready for summer!!! I sure love my Caroline and having her home!! It was so fun to see her progress and learn throughout the year, she learned to read and write and her confidence grew as she learned more.

The first of many....

Miss Caroline lost her first tooth over spring break. It had been loose for a while and she begged me to pull it out. She was not even nervous, she wanted it out so bad, she was so brave!! It was a fun experience for both of us I think. It felt like a "growing up" moment, one of those that you want to bottle up and remember forever. Hopefully the rest of the teeth come out just as happily. Love you, sweet girl.

Snow Days

We were lucky enough to have several "Texas style" snow days this year. The kids took full advantage of it!! We played outside as much as their little bodies could handle it. We got cold pretty fast, but it was tons of fun.

We drove to a local park that had a few small hills and were able to have fun sliding down using our own Texas version of sleds, cookie sheets. Colt is giving Gunner a little push here.
Colt got a little cold, so he hung out in the car to warm up a bit.
 Making snow angels.
Colt wanted to get the jeep out and ride it in the snow, however, it couldn't get any good traction and the battery was running low so he just sat in it and played.
 Love these two.

When we were sledding, a man from the local newspaper asked if he could take some pictures of us, so I said sure, the next day low and behold Gunner and I were famous!

Glasses

Last month Gunner man got some glasses. We noticed that he was sitting a little close to the tv and when we made him sit farther back, he was squinting a lot. He is pretty good about wearing them most of the time and can definitely see better with them!! Now if only we could work on not breaking them, we've already been in 3 times to have them fixed. Good thing he looks so handsome in them.

We Have A Six Year Old.

I cannot even begin to say how crazy it is that we have a six year old. It just seems so grown up!! Caroline's birthday was alot of fun. The boys and I brought lunch from McDonalds, (her choice) to eat with her at school and then we brought cupcakes for her class to celebrate. We had pizza for dinner and ended the day with an Olaf cake. It was perfect. She is a light in our family. Always spunky and energetic. Never seems to slow down, wanting to know and learn everything she can. She loves her brothers and I'm pretty sure daddy is still her favorite person on the planet.

 The Best Cake Ever. Olaf.
Obviously, I was very proud of this one, thank you pinterest for the idea.
 Birthday Girl.
Caroline didn't even want to eat it, she just wanted to push daddy's face in it.
And, he kindly obliged to keep the tradition alive and the birthday girl happy.
 Pure Joy.
The weekend after her birthday Caroline and I went for a little mom and daughter day of fun to get our nails done and to see the movie Paddington in theaters, it was some much needed girl fun!! Caroline was in heaven with her giant slurpee.
