The Arboretum

A few days ago we headed out to the arboretum with Emily and her girls and mom and dad. It was the perfect day. Great weather, beautiful flowers and good company.

Happy 4th Birthday Caroline

Our sweet Caroline is 4 today. She is growing up all too fast. She has been such a sweet heart with both of her brothers since Colt has come into our family. She is quick to give Colt his binky when he is fussy and good at keeping Gunner busy when I need to be with the baby. She loves Strawberry Shortcake and princesses, playing dress up and make believe with her polly pockets. She also loves pizza lunchables, when we told her she could have anything she wanted for dinner tonight, without hesitation she said a pizza lunchable please! She melts my heart with cuddles for me and Colt in the mornings before Gunner wakes up. And she loves to have her dad read her books before bed. She is a great big sister and we are so thankful she made us parents 4 years ago today.  

Caroline was super excited to see there was Strawberry Shortcake plates and napkins to use at dinner.

 Traditionally we like to take our kids to the store together and let them pick out a present, this set of "princess pollys" is what she chose this year, she was very happy to open it.  

 Grammy was nice enough to make Caroline's awesome Strawberry Shortcake cake this year.

The other birthday tradition we have around our house. I have no idea how or when we started this either, but the cake always ends up in your face.

And usually it ends up in dads face too. Caroline really enjoyed putting dads face in the cake this year.

A Little Earlier Than Planned

On January 7th, around 9:40pm, Linnae's water broke.  We were a little bit surprised and unprepared as the due date was January 22nd, and the other two children did not come early.  A quick call to Grandma Foote had her on the way over to stay the night with Caroline and Gunner.  Off to the hospital we went and at 8:52am on January 8th, Colt Leland Larsen, 7 lbs 15 oz, and 20 inches long was born.  He has been a good little boy and we are very happy and blessed to have another child in our little family.

Up And Running

The go-cart is officially up and running now. The kids could not be more excited. Caroline has asked to go for a ride everyday so far since Brett fixed it.  We have a great little grassy spot right next to our house to go for a spin. I am sure it will be put to good use. Thanks for fixing it dad.
