We love our daddy

We just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to our wonderful and amazing dad. Who is our best buddy and always makes us laugh. Thanks for always putting a smile on our faces, having fun with us and taking care of us. You are going to be a great father of two. We love you, love Caroline, Linnae, Elliot and baby to be.

Memorial Day

We had such a great time at the cabin over Memorial day. We got to spend a whole 5 days with Brett!! Which was so needed for me and for Caroline!! The weather was wonderful and the water was the perfect temperature. And we were in great company with family and friends. Brett's sister Chrystie and her family came up from Oklahoma City to be with us. We couldn't have asked for much more.

Just enjoying some quality family time

Lovin' the water and jetski
Caroline with her cousin Emma, (couldn't get a great shot of them together)

Just relaxin'

New job, New addition, New adventures

Brett accepted a job with Exterran, a company that does natural gas production about a month ago. For the next six months, well about five now, he will be completing his training. For 8 weeks, he has classroom training in Davis, OK about 2 1/2 hours away, and then for 4 more months, he will be doing training in various locations. This means we only get to see him on the weekends, which is really hard for me, but I do feel lucky to be close to family to keep us busy while Brett is away. When the training is over, he will be a field service technician working on gas compressors ( basically a large engine). We will be moving to either east Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, or Mississippi when the training is complete. Brett has been looking at a job with this company for a while, so we are very excited about this new opportunity, we just hope the training time goes by fast. Because I hate being separated!!

And for our second bit of news, we will be adding a new addition to our family. Yes, I am pregnant with little Larsen number two. Caroline officially becomes a big sister on December 2. Which puts me at 14 weeks as of tomorrow. So far, this pregnancy has been a little bit the same and alot different than the last. I have had all the same sickness, the stomach yuckiness, and the usual headaches. The differences have been my cravings, with Caroline I never really had any, with this baby I have them all the time and get really upset when we don't have what I am craving in the house :-) And I get alot more tired this time, probably because I have a 16 month old to chase around. Also, it is definitely true what they say, you start showing alot sooner the second time around, totally depressing. We are looking forward to all the new adventures coming our way over the next little while. Brett will be finished with his training right before the baby comes and we will be moving right before the baby comes too, luckily we are pros at doing the moving right before the baby comes thing. We did it with Caroline, and the best part is no box lifting, just leave the delegating to me.

A love for the outdoors

Our little miss Caroline loves to be outside, anything and everything as long as it is outside. She loves to play in the grass and get dirty, the sandbox, riding her bike, and especially animals. For family home evening a few weeks ago, Anna brought her horse out and Caroline went for a quick ride, she was in heaven.

very into riding her bike

Rootbeer anyone?

Could a rootbeer mustache be any cuter?? Caroline and her daddy now have a shared love for the drink, one sip and she was sold.

Easter and Baseball

We had a nice and quiet Easter together, we enjoyed watching conference and spending time as a family. Caroline loved her basket and especially loved it when she found out there was candy in the eggs.

Friday night we went to the Rangers baseball game. We had a blast with the Phillips family and loved the fireworks show!!

Oh Happy Day

Just would like to announce that this little lady is now finally sleeping through the night!! Booya baby!! I know, she is 14 months now and some of you may think it ridiculous that it has taken so long, however, everyone does things differently, plus for the past few months we have been living in a one bedroom which makes for some very small sleeping quarters. But we did it, and now we have all had 2 solid weeks of sleep!! woot woot :-)
