A love for the outdoors

Our little miss Caroline loves to be outside, anything and everything as long as it is outside. She loves to play in the grass and get dirty, the sandbox, riding her bike, and especially animals. For family home evening a few weeks ago, Anna brought her horse out and Caroline went for a quick ride, she was in heaven.

Could a rootbeer mustache be any cuter?? Caroline and her daddy now have a shared love for the drink, one sip and she was sold.

Easter and Baseball

We had a nice and quiet Easter together, we enjoyed watching conference and spending time as a family. Caroline loved her basket and especially loved it when she found out there was candy in the eggs.

Friday night we went to the Rangers baseball game. We had a blast with the Phillips family and loved the fireworks show!!

Oh Happy Day

Just would like to announce that this little lady is now finally sleeping through the night!! Booya baby!! I know, she is 14 months now and some of you may think it ridiculous that it has taken so long, however, everyone does things differently, plus for the past few months we have been living in a one bedroom which makes for some very small sleeping quarters. But we did it, and now we have all had 2 solid weeks of sleep!! woot woot :-)

Spring Fever

This week my sisters kids were on spring break so we went out and enjoyed some of the local spots around town. Two of our favorites were the arboretum and the zoo. Notice how pretty the flowers are. They are all just starting to bloom, it was gorgeous. Funny thing though, it snowed today and not just a little we got a few inches, it is however suppose to get back up to 65 degrees tomorrow, crazy Texas weather.

A day at the park

Last weekend it was perfect weather to be outside, so we took Caroline to the park. Now that she can walk without falling, she is much more independent and always wants to go play outside, she will stand by the the door and hold her hand out as if she is saying, come on mom lets go. So cute.

We had a beautiful day so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to take some one year old pictures of Caroline. It was fun to play around with the camera and Caroline did great.
